About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a BMS Installation Engineer or BMS Improver to join our client on a long-term contract delivering installation works across a range of projects including schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, and high-end residential developments. This role will suit either an experienced BMS Installation Engineer or a BMS Improver looking to gain further site experience within the Building Management Systems sector.
Key Duties
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix BMS installation work
- Installing trunking, conduit and containment
- Running and terminating BMS cabling
- Installing power to isolators
- Supporting installation of BMS field devices and control panels
- Working closely with site teams and project engineers
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
Desirable Experience / Qualifications
- ECS Card
- CSCS Card (Improver or Electrician)
- 18th Edition or 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Enhanced DBS (beneficial due to work in schools and hospitals)
- Previous experience working on BMS installations
The Ideal Candidate
- BMS Improver looking to build experience within the industry
- Electrician with exposure to BMS installation projects
- Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a site team
