A growing UK manufacturer of innovative lighting solutions is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across London and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional with established relationships across the public and private sectors and a strong understanding of specification-led sales.
The Role
- Develop and grow business opportunities across London.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, consultants, contractors and end users.
- Identify and secure new projects within the education, healthcare and commercial sectors.
- Manage projects from specification through to completion.
- Work closely with an energetic and collaborative team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
About You
- Based within the M25 and able to cover the London region effectively.
- Proven business development or specification sales experience, ideally within lighting, electrical, construction or a related industry.
- Strong network of contacts within Local Authorities, Consulting Engineers / Specifiers, Education Sector, Healthcare Sector.
- Commercially driven with excellent relationship-building skills.
- A genuine team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and customers alike.
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing a busy pipeline.
