An established and growing energy services business is looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join its expanding field-based team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and investigation of smart metering equipment across domestic customer properties, while providing a professional and high-quality customer service. The Role
- Installing single-phase and three-phase SMETS2 smart meters within domestic properties.
- Carrying out warrants and in-day emergency work.
- Undertaking ongoing maintenance, investigations and fault finding.
- Completing all work safely, accurately and in accordance with industry standards.
- Providing excellent customer service at every appointment.
- Completing job records using handheld IT devices.
- Working in line with company health & safety procedures.
- Opportunity to earn additional meter-fit bonuses.
- No weekend work or on-call requirement.
Engineer Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience.
- CCN1/CMA1 and MET1, or equivalent qualifications.
- MOCOPA or recognised Smart Metering qualification.
- EUSR registration, including three-phase experience.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Comfortable using handheld IT devices to complete and record jobs.
- Ability to successfully pass a DBS check.
- A professional approach to customer service, health & safety and quality.
- A willingness to continue developing within the smart metering industry.
