About the Role:
An established, family-run automotive specialist is seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Auto Electrician to join its growing team. This role involves travelling to customer locations across the Home Counties to install a range of aftermarket vehicle accessories. The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of working independently, and confident managing installations efficiently within set timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile installation of aftermarket vehicle accessories for cars, vans, and HGVs
- Installation of aftermarket and OEM products such as trackers, camera systems, immobilisers, parking sensors, and other related accessories
- Diagnosing and resolving auto electrical issues
- Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a professional standard
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in vehicle accessory fitting or auto electrics
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a mobile role
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant vehicle fitting certifications (desirable but not essential)
