My client is an established, well-known company within the Fluid Power sector and due to growth they are looking for someone to join their internal production team as a Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician. As a workshop based Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician you will be responsible for the production of hydraulic hoses based on clients’ needs and requirements. You will be working within a small team and closely with the Fluid Power team.

Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician
Birmingham
£27,000 – £29,000 Basic DOE, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme.
Monday – Thurs 8.30am-5pm & Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Assembly of Hydraulic Hoses based on customers’ requirements.
Understand the company product range and ensure all assemblies are complete correctly and safely.
Ensure HSE standards within the workshop are met and work is carried out following Health and Safety legislation.
Always provide first class customer service.
Assist with material storage/management, stock control and workshop organisation.
Support trade counter, goods in & out from the site.
Complete risk assessments and method statements when required to do so.
Workshop and working areas are maintained, kept clean and tidy to an acceptable level.
Suggest and implement improvements within the workshop.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
Mechanical engineering experience.
Hydraulic hose manufacturing and installation.
Hydraulic hose assembly experience.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Confident with Microsoft Office.
A real “can do “attitude.
A desire to be part of a team but comfortable working alone too.
