My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company, offering a range of services and products within a large variety of industries. Looking to grow their engineering services and branch into larger projects, they are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to join their team. As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will have a large amount of experience with a good understanding of Hydraulic Systems and schematic drawings. Continuous training, development is available for the right candidate. Hydraulic Engineer Location: North East £40,000 – 45,000, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, phone, fuel card, van, mobile and pension. Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5pm **ZERO ON CALL** Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Working along side engineering team as a senior engineer. Assist in building the companies reputation within the hydraulic field across the area. Provide professional onsite hydraulic repairs/services on a range of equipment. Work closely with engineers to assist with issues on various sites – supporting the team. Ensure the highest levels of HSE are met and always maintained. Manage vehicle to maintain stock levels, routine maintenance and documentation. To apply you MUST have or hold: Strong Hydraulic and Mechanical knowledge. Industry specific Hydraulic qualifications – Level 2 Minimum. Knowledge of Hydraulic systems and equipment. Good communication skills both written and verbally. Able to communicate technical information to clients and colleagues. Strong work ethic with a hunger to grow too. Experience operating and testing hydraulic valves, pumps and motors. Good communication skills both written and verbally. Be able to read and interpret schematic drawings. Experience in hydraulic fault finding / trouble shooting. Working to high standards under pressure.
