Field Service Engineer - CNC / Railway Machinery
Location: (Preferably based South Yorkshire) Nationwide travel Salary: £48,500 basic + OT + pension + expenses Hours: Monday-Friday, flexible working
We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join an established engineering business with over 25 years' experience, supporting specialist CNC machinery within the railway industry.
This is a hands-on role covering the installation, commissioning, servicing and breakdown support of specialist machinery.
The Role
Installation, commissioning, servicing & breakdown support of CNC machinery.
Mechanical work including bearings, ball screws and servos.
Fault-find across electrical and mechanical systems.
Work on servo drives, PLCs and servo motors.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a CNC / Machine Tool / Field Service Engineer Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical capability Siemens controls experience preferred.
CNC/machine tool background preferred, but engineers from other industrial sectors will be considered.
Comfortable working nationwide and staying away when required.
Package
£48,500 basic salary with overtime paid at time-and-a-half when required.
Company van, phone & i Pad provided.
Monday-Friday working - no regular weekend work.
Fuel and hotel costs covered - Company credit card. 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
