We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer for a full time, permanent position in the centre of Birmingham. This Fabric Engineer will be covering multiple sites (all walking distance) throughout the centre of Birmingham, dealing with planned and reactive maintenance for these commercial sites.
The role includes:
- Monthly and weekly maintenance checks
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, floor and ceiling tiles
- Legionella testing, water flushing
It would be a major advantage if this person has some experience dealing with plant room and AHU maintenance. This is a foot mobile position; however, we are willing to contribute to some of the travel costs to get into Birmingham.
Requirements:
- Strong background in commercial building service maintenance
- Based in a commutable location to the centre of Birmingham
- Preferably holding a level 2 maintenance qualification
- Experience as a commercial fabric engineer/maintenance engineer
- Must be happy to cover multiple sites in the centre of Birmingham
- Experience working on AHUs and plant rooms would be a major advantage
