We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Service Manager for a very busy heavy commercial and industrial Refrigeration company based in Essex. This position will be running a team of 12 heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration engineers that cover on a national basis. They will be supporting these engineers with the assistance of two supervising engineers with training and development as well as one to one support. They will be also working very closely with the clients, completing surveys and client meetings, small quotations, technical advice etc.
The right person for this position will come from a strong refrigeration background. It would be a major advantage if this person has some experience with industrial refrigeration; however, it is essential that they have experience within heavy commercial refrigeration for sites that include pharmaceutical and food manufacturing. We will require this person to be able to complete estimates in relation to reactive maintenance contracts. Due to the nature of the position, we will require this person to attend the office two to three days a week.
Requirements:
- Experience in Heavy Commercial Refrigeration
- Experience within Industrial Refrigeration would be a major advantage
- Industrial Chiller knowledge would also be an advantage (not essential)
- Must be able to commute to the office a couple of days per week
- Full UK driving licence
- Holding refrigeration qualifications (valid or spent)
- Experience in managing or supervising a team of engineers
- Able to provide technical support to the engineers and clients
- Ability to complete reactive maintenance estimates
