Location: Sussex & Gatwick area

Salary: £38,000–£42,000 DOE

  • Benefits
    • Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes

Role Overview

As a Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault‑finding on fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial sites throughout the Sussex and Gatwick area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively
  • Work on a range of fire alarm systems including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
  • Good working knowledge of leading fire alarm manufacturers, including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
