About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of specification-led growth in territory for our client. If you know the market, have the relationships and want the freedom to turn your expertise into real commercial impact, this is a role where you can make a genuine difference.
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development / Specification Manager with strong, established relationships with consultants and specifiers across the South of the UK. You'll build on that network, get involved in major projects from the earliest stages and turn influence into specifications, opportunities and long-term business.
This is much more than a traditional sales role. You'll be a trusted technical and commercial partner to consultants, specifiers, fire engineers and key decision-makers, with the autonomy to develop your region with the backing of the company's experienced sales, marketing and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Take ownership of specification-led growth across the South of the UK and build a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities.
Use your established consultant and specifier network to open doors, influence designs and secure specifications on major projects.
Create new opportunities with fire engineers, developers, councils, housing associations and other key stakeholders.
