We are looking for an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer with a strong DMG machine background to join an established and growing engineering business.
The Role
- Field-based servicing and maintenance of DMG CNC machines
- Breakdown support, servicing and maintenance
- Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Work on servo drives, servo motors, spindles and ballscrews
- Support a small number of key customers
- Flexible working hours with regular travel across the Midlands
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' CNC engineering experience
- Strong DMG / DMG MORI machine experience - essential
- Previous OEM / machine tool service background preferred
- 70/30 electrical bias, though 50/50 engineers considered
- Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens or Fanuc controls
- Strong fault-finding and hands-on mechanical skills
Package
- Permanent: £45,000-£55,000 basic
- Self-Employed: £40 per hour
- Typically 3-4 days per week
- OT: 1.25x weekdays / 1.5x Saturdays
