I’m working with a growing and forward-thinking building controls specialist looking to add an experienced BMS Service Engineer to their team in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a field-based role, managing their own workload and delivering high-quality service to a range of clients.

The Role

As a BMS Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting building management systems across commercial sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on BMS control systems
  • Supporting customers with technical issues and system optimisation
  • Advising on energy efficiency improvements
  • Producing clear and accurate service reports
  • Identifying system upgrades and feeding back potential opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with standards

Requirements

  • Experience working with BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or Delta
  • Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of health & safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Understanding of energy management principles (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
