Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent (Office & Site Based)

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Excellent Benefits

My client is a well-established Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist delivering innovative controls projects across the commercial sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their expanding Projects team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Project Manager who enjoys overseeing projects from handover through to completion, working closely with engineers, subcontractors and clients to deliver successful BMS installations.

The Role

As a BMS Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget while maintaining the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing BMS projects from initial handover through to final completion.
  • Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.
  • Planning resources, project programmes and procurement activities.
  • Monitoring project costs, progress and commercial performance.
  • Liaising with customers to provide updates and ensure project satisfaction.
  • Supporting system design, commissioning activities and technical problem solving.
  • Preparing project documentation including RAMS, commissioning reports and O&M manuals.
  • Ensuring projects meet quality, health & safety and contractual requirements.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing Building Management System (BMS) projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of BMS controls and commissioning.
  • Excellent project planning and organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • BCIA, HNC/HND, electrical qualifications or relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
