We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Generator Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on generators ranging from 6kVA to 120kVA, providing expert service and maintenance across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators ranging from 6kVA to 120kVA.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure all equipment is operating at optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service while working on-site at various locations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with generators, particularly within the 6kVA to 120kVA range.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Day-to-Day

  • Start your day at 7:00 AM and work until 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Travel to various sites in Birmingham and surrounding areas using a company-provided van.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and respond to service calls.
  • Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair generator systems.
  • Maintain clear communication with the office and clients to ensure smooth operations.
