Job Overview
We are hiring a Product Designer to lead our Reporting Team based in London. You will drive our most critical platform and product investments, scale and grow our impact globally, and help build a highly competitive, end‑to‑end ESG reporting product that empowers the world’s largest organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead design for our ESG reporting application, helping Watershed build a highly competitive, end-to-end reporting product and platform.
- Design and ship experiences that enable large organizations to scale their own reporting efforts through AI‑powered multi‑player report authoring, reusable metrics and answers, flexible report customization, and more.
- Drive deep discovery to uncover new product opportunities, using customer feedback and product analytics to iterate quickly and move meaningful product and business metrics.
- Build the vision and product strategy to bring the next chapter of product to life.
- Partner closely with EPD teams to execute, and GTM to understand and build for the market.
- Leverage AI throughout your design process and in the product itself to deliver great outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing software, preferably at B2B software companies or in technical/complex problem spaces.
- Strong systems‑thinking and a love for rapid, 0‑1 product building.
- A track record shipping powerful and intuitive product experiences that customers love.
- Proficient in design craft fundamentals: solid design process, strong interaction craft, and an eye for polish.
- Experience shipping AI products and using AI tools to aid discovery, synthesis, and design execution.
- Customer‑obsessed and excited to spend time with users and prospects.
- Enthusiastic about product and business ownership; eager to dive deep on climate and become an expert on the market’s paths forward.
- Willing to join a startup, take responsibility for the company’s fate, and move fast.
- Prior experience in the climate space is not required.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position will be in person in our London office 3‑4 days per week. You must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles). Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City, and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in the office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so.
