We are seeking a proactive and reliable Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our small Facilities team at Sequani. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault-finding, and reactive repairs across a range of electrical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-skilled environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
The Facilities department at Sequani is a multi-disciplined team covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, stores and general site services. We are responsible for covering breakdowns, maintenance requests and the stores function throughout the site. We excel in working as a team, achieving a high standard of completion of all maintenance tasks.

Role Overview:
This role is a Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:00 position. Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical installations, repairs and maintenance to M&E plant and building fabric. You will play a key role in planning and completing a range of planned and reactive maintenance works associated with electrical and mechanical engineering. You will also complete proactive inspections, conduct any remedial repairs, monitor and manage equipment and operations.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- City and Guilds 17th or 18th edition
- City and Guilds Part 1 & 2 certificates
- Experience in phase 3 systems
- Experience in control circuits
- Experience in reading electrical drawings
- Willingness to utilise IT systems and processes to improve operational effectiveness and accuracy
- Awareness of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements
- Experienced in fault diagnosis and rectification using appropriate test equipment
Desirable:
- Previous knowledge and experience in a multi-skilled role
- Working in a regulated environment
- Basic knowledge of AHUs, drives, motors and dampers
- Basic knowledge of BMS (Trend) and monitoring
- Basic knowledge of chiller systems, temperature and humidity controls
- Basic plumbing and fabrication skills
- Basic knowledge of critical systems, UPS and generators
