Regional Category Manager – CMO Europe in Liverpool

Responsibilities: • Responsible for sourcing of materials and supplier management to ensure requirements for quality, reliability, cost and delivery • Accountable for sourcing process in assigned site/region/category and aligning procurement strategies with those of the customer site/commercial business • May support an assigned category or multiple categories as part of a global or regional category team • Evaluates suppliers, creates and maintains contracts, negotiates pricing and builds relationships with vendors • Partners with stakeholders to define, review and monitor supplier performance • Improves systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in business or technical discipline relevant to CSL products • 7+ years' procurement/supply management experience • Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM, CIPS) preferred • Demonstrated success negotiating complex supply agreements Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements.
