The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will manage multiple complex projects delivering business-critical product solutions through to manufacturing handover, to demanding schedules and budgets, for mission critical customer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for delivering high visibility technology solutions to time and budget.

  • Apply project management tools and techniques to achieve project objectives, meet schedule deadlines and budget targets.
  • Ensure approaches/techniques are used for building high performing teams, maintaining good team morale and a high level of operating efficiency.
  • Demonstrate leadership by promoting trust, interaction, & shared commitment within teams.
  • Incorporate quality into the project delivery.
  • Plan, manage and lead multiple complex projects.
  • Manage regular project meetings including sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring accountability of team members and individuals in the wider business.
  • Ensure personal and team adherence to defined project management processes.
  • Capture and manage project risks and opportunities with appropriate planning of mitigations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring appropriate escalation of risks and issues.
  • Negotiate the availability of project resources with Resource Managers and other Project Managers, ensuring smoothed and optimised resource utilisation.
  • Work in partnership with Senior Technical Leads / Architects and Product Managers to deliver industry leading solutions into volume production.

Day to Day

Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete TETRA and LTE solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges. There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business.

Travel

This role may involve occasional travelling; the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence, own car, and a valid passport. Travel expenses will be paid.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Training in project management to a project manager level, with accredited certification through SAFe, IPMA, APM, Prince 2 or IPM or equivalent.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience leading development project teams in a multi-discipline environment on complex product development projects and programmes, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience managing and delivering software for embedded, platform and application product solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with development software configuration and continuous integration workflows.
  • Understanding of the interdependencies between software and hardware elements and how to successfully deliver integrated product solutions.
  • Wider understanding of product development and realisation principles (Embedded software, Electronics,) and methodologies to facilitate best practice for product design and development.
  • Documentation of project management processes and an ability to contribute to the optimisation, improvement, and maintenance of existing processes.
  • Experience using Statement of Work and Procurement Specifications while engaging with external design and solution providers to meet technical, commercial and manufacturing requirements.
  • Detailed understanding of software development lifecycles.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of LTE, BT, Wi-Fi and TETRA technologies.
  • Experience with wireless audio and other radio product accessories.
  • Appreciation of Mechanical and Manufacturing & Test product delivery technologies.
