We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join our HR team as we enter an exciting period of growth as we increase our investment and development as we move into new technologies and expand our global footprint. This is a full-time office-based role located at our Headquarters in Waterbeach.

Reporting to the HR Director, and working closely with the Senior HRBP, HR Officer and Recruitment & HR Co-ordinator, this is a generalist hands-on role where you will be working closely with stakeholders from across the business to provide a high-quality HR service.

Role:

  • Providing comprehensive HRBP Support to employees and managers across Sepura’s Operations, Sales (Europe and Americas), and Corporate Departments
  • Support the Senior HRBP with:
    • Employee Relations Matters
    • Talent management and Succession Planning
    • Governance and Compliance matters
    • Employee Engagement and Pulse surveys
    • Ensuring that policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legislation and best practice
  • Provide coaching and specialist advice to managers who are dealing with performance and employee relations issues including dispute resolutions, investigations, absence management, performance improvement, disciplinaries & grievances
  • Lead and implement HR projects
  • Support the Senior HRBP with Learning and Development activities including training design and delivery
  • Maintaining learner records on the Compliance platform
  • Monitoring completion of compliance training, chasing and escalating where needed
  • Development and promotion of Sepura Employer brand, working with HR Team and Sepura Marketing Team
  • Partner with HR Officer on management of Company HRIS (MHR iTrent)
  • Partner with and support HR Director, Senior HRBP, HR Officer & Recruitment & HR Co-ordinator with ad hoc HR activities as required (i.e. recruitment, visas and immigration, Staff Council meetings)

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised, team player, with an enthusiastic approach. Experience working in tech/engineering environments would be a nice to have but is not essential.

What you need to succeed:

Must-haves:

  • A levels or equivalent
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification (or working towards this)
  • Significant work experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor
  • Considerable experience in employee relations management, providing guidance and solutions on complex HR issues
  • Up to date comprehensive employment law knowledge
  • Ability to challenge and influence to a senior level
  • Experience working with highly technical customer group
  • Experience leading and supporting change management initiatives
  • Experience of developing policies, streamlining procedures & identifying areas for process/service improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Resilient, highly adaptable & tenacious
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, Recruitment platforms)
