Job Description:
Job Summary
The Territory Manager generates all territorial sales activities, including education of company products to dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants and office personnel. The Territory Manager reports all sales activities through the CRM system and works closely with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas are met.
Responsibilities
Training and Product Knowledge
- Attend extensive training programs in Lancaster, PA to learn how products are manufactured and utilized.
- Gain proficient knowledge of company products to effectively teach and train others on core products.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager and other internal experts to determine appropriate sales techniques to utilize with dealers and dentists.
Administrative Duties
- Call on account lists provided by Home Office.
- Report all relevant information on a timely basis.
Dentist Responsibilities
- Spend prescribed number of visits calling on dental practices directly.
- Present Septodont products, provide lunch and learns to dental staff, and educate staff on product specifics.
School and Institutional Sales
- Make dental school/university calls as instructed.
- Make Hospital or Institutional calls as instructed.
Sales and Expense Budgets
Work to achieve maximum annual sales while maintaining expense budget constraints.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or previous sales experience in the dental field desirable
Experience
Must have 2-3 years sales experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Self starter, ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
- Proficiency in working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
