The Inside Sales Representative focuses on generating and closing sales activities to targeted accounts across North America based on sales & marketing campaigns designed by the Marketing department. The Inside Sales Representative reports all sales activities through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and works closely with the designated Marketing Representative to ensure that sales quotas are achieved. The work is performed by utilizing the CTI program within the CRM system to make all sales calls.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Product Knowledge: Attends extensive training programs to learn how products are manufactured and utilized. Gains proficient knowledge of company products to effectively teach and train customers on core products. Works closely with the Marketing department to understand all campaigns and how best to approach customers when making offers. Stay informed about company products and service information updates.
  • Sales Closing: Work towards closing deals and securing customer commitments as part of Sales & Marketing Campaign and achieving company quotas. Based on Sales & Marketing Campaigns, upselling services and making product recommendations to customers. Achieving or exceeding call and sales targets, measured by metrics based on the time spent on calls and percentage of successful sales calls. Present Septodont products to dental staff and other potential customers as defined in the Sales & Marketing Campaign.
  • CRM and Sales Tools: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales tools to manage and track customer interactions, update customer data and monitor sales activities. Uses CRM system and specifically the CTI module in the CRM to make sales calls to designated accounts.
  • Sales and Expense Budgets: Works to achieve maximum annual sales while maintaining expense budget constraints.
  • Other: Follows regulatory requirements and ensures quality standards are met. Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations. Demonstrates the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practices. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma is required, college diploma in business, marketing or related field is an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service or a related field is highly desirable. Prior experience or familiarity in the dental industry is highly desired. Familiarity with a Customer Relationship Management system such as Salesforce is preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively engage with customers through phone calls, emails and other communication channels. Solid understanding of sales techniques, including overcoming objections and closing sales. Customer-focused and able to build and maintain relationships with clients. Proven ability to persuade and influence to successfully close deals and achieve sales targets. Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple leads and tasks, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Problem solving skills to address customer inquiries, overcome objections and find creative solutions to meet customer needs. Resilience and can-do attitude to overcome customer setbacks and keep a positive attitude. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with other team members, and across sales and marketing.
