The Component Preparation Operator is accountable to the Production Supervisor for all activities relating to inspection, labeling and packaging of filled products, as well as preparation of glass caps and stoppers to meet the company’s objectives. This will be performed in accordance with the requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Reliable: Follows inspection, labeling, packaging and component preparation SOPs for preparation of components. Completes Batch Record and log books. Reports any equipment problems to Lead Hand and Supervisor.
- Efficient: Inspects, labels and packages filled cartridges according to the appropriate SOP. Performs and records all line clearance and cleaning. Performs fill volume and seal integrity testing. Maintains Inspection Certification.
- Respectful: Collaborates with other departments to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Informative: Follows GMP and regulatory requirements, and ensures quality standards are met. Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations. Models the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practices. Performs other related duties as required.
Education: High school diploma. A college certification/diploma or equivalent is an asset.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Starting at approximately $22.12/hour, with an additional shift premium depending on shift, with opportunity for increase based on qualifications and experience.
