The CLS Performance and Capacity Team reports into the Technology Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Information Officer. The team is responsible for the delivery of cost effective capacity management to ensure an optimal performance of all business processes and services based on planned variations in demand. The team plays a crucial role to assist CLS in achieving performance goals and plan budgets, while preventing the unnecessary overprovisioning of infrastructure. The P&C team continuously tracks CLS ability to meet the published Risk Appetite for performance and capacity for its key business systems. The organizational structure reflects the key role and importance of the team in the management of the CLS wide technology stack. The team has recently deployed an in-house proactive monitoring capability known as CMIS to enhance the Performance & Capacity management process maturity.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Assist in all performance engineering and capacity management activities to support the delivery of projects as well as BAU initiatives and processes.
  • Assist in developing CMIS proactive management products such as reports, dashboards and forecast models.
  • Assist in day to day performance and capacity management activities of live services.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide support in setting up and developing the performance and capacity monitoring and reporting requirements for applications and infrastructures hosted by CLS and/or third party vendors.
  • Validate and communicate system characteristics and maximum capabilities in terms of both performance and capacity.
  • Analyze system behaviors and identify potential areas of concern regarding future stress/pinch points. Build an action plan for resolution.
  • Regularly report on performance and capacity findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Electronic Engineering or IT Degree educated.
