The Project Support Officer (PSO) ensures that the assigned projects deliver to the highest project governance standards supporting the delivery of the Galileo Program. The PSO role is an important role on the Galileo program which supports the project managers and program manager on the overall delivery of the program. This is an excellent opportunity to support a major program migrating a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) to a new target architecture.
Responsibilities
- Project Governance
- RAID Log maintenance (Risk, Issue, Assumptions, Dependencies)
- Action follow up (including working with 3rd parties)
- Quarterly Risk and Issue review
- Meeting Governance and Scheduling, including producing high quality minutes.
- Input to Scorecard and Reporting
- Creation of high-quality meeting materials
- Assisting in Project Audits from key control/2nd line of defense/3rd line of defense stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project: scope, schedule and milestones, budget/costs, resourcing, and deliverables
Qualifications / certifications
- At least 4 years hands-on Project Support experience
- Knowledge of Financial Services and FX desirable
- Proven organizational skills
- Proficiency with related project tools including but not limited to MS Office, MS Project, Enterprise Project Management tools
- Some experience supporting major programs requiring interacting with regulators, either from a policy or supervisory perspective.
- Have professional presentation skills, including excellent writing and public speaking capabilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
