Due to the expansion of our service operating 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00, we are seeking Band 7 HCPC-registered MRI Radiographers to join our growing MRI team within the general imaging department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

Role Overview

The post-holder will ensure the effective and safe operation of the MRI department, performing a wide range of specialist MRI scans during the extended 7-day service. They will supervise and line-manage Band 6 radiographers, imaging assistants, students, and visitors, ensuring smooth patient flow by actively managing outpatient and inpatient activities. The role involves prompt protocolling, checking conditional devices, liaising with radiologists and clinicians, and resolving barriers to scanning. The post-holder will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and experience, handling and diffusing complaints effectively.
