12-month part-time fixed term/Secondment

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our CNS team. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced renal nurse. This post is a 12-month part-time fixed term or secondment to cover 18.5 hours per week. It offers a flexible working opportunity for those passionate about renal transplantation.

The Renal Transplant team manages acute and long-term transplant patients, donors, and pre-transplant assessments and reviews. The post holder will work as part of the pre-transplant team and will actively participate in preparing and leading pre-transplant multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating the assessment of patients prior to transplantation.
  2. Promoting and enabling safe, specialised, and expert management and care.
  3. Acting as a key accessible professional throughout the patient journey.
