We’re looking for hard-working and safety-conscious Industrial Drainage Operatives to join our expanding team. This full-time role covers a wide variety of industrial drainage works, including confined space entries, high-pressure water jetting and planned or reactive jobs across industrial sites. You’ll be joining a company with a strong pipeline of contracts and a commitment to doing things the right way: safely, professionally and with pride.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out industrial cleaning and drainage works using high-pressure water jetting and vacuum equipment.
- Assist in the set-up, operation, and breakdown of confined space entry tasks, following all safety procedures.
- Support emergency call-outs to tackle drainage blockages, flooding and pollution incidents.
- Safely handle and manage waste, ensuring proper containment and disposal in line with environmental standards.
- Complete risk assessments and safety checks on-site prior to starting work.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including photographs, site forms and client documentation.
- Work effectively as part of a team on scheduled and reactive works across a variety of sites.
- Operate equipment and tools responsibly, keeping vehicles and kit clean and in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Confined Space High Risk qualification.
- Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding environments and varying weather.
- Willing and able to work away from home when required.
- Full UK driving licence preferred (HGV desirable but not essential).
- Experience in drainage, groundworks or industrial cleaning is strongly favoured.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
