We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team. This full-time role involves operating various types of vacuum tankers to support residential, commercial and construction drainage works, including emergency response jobs and scheduled site maintenance.

You’ll be joining a company with a strong pipeline of contracts and a commitment to doing things the right way: safely, professionally and with pride.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various vacuum tankers, transporting a range of wastes across commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Drive and operate specialist jetting and suction tankers
  • Respond to emergency call-outs, addressing sewer blockages, flooding and pollution incidents.
  • Handle the collection and safe disposal of controlled and liquid waste in compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to statutory health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks to ensure operational compliance.
  • Accurately record all job details and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
  • Ideally 2 years’ experience working in industrial and drainage services.
  • ADR qualification beneficial but not essential.
  • Good driving record with no major violations or accidents.
  • Flexibility to work away from home when required.
