We’re looking for 2 experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team. This full-time role involves operating a gully tanker to support residential, commercial and construction drainage works, including emergency response jobs and scheduled site maintenance. You will operate as part of a two person team, and take lead on the delivery of a 7-year long framework around the Knowsley area. We’re looking for individuals with strong initiative and work ethic. You’ll be joining a company with a strong pipeline of contracts and a commitment to doing things the right way: safely, professionally and with pride.

Gully Tanker Driver responsibilities

  • Operating gully tankers for drain and gully clearance
  • Undertaking cleaning of pipes, manholes and gullies to S104/S38 standards
  • Transporting and handling vacuum hoses and associated tools
  • Using hand tools to lift covers and access drainage entry points
  • Documenting findings through photographs and written observations
  • Following all safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment
  • Working alongside engineers and operatives across site teams
  • Recording daily activity and maintaining vehicle and kit

Skills and experience required

  • A full UK driving licence (HGV Class 2)
  • 2+ years’ industry experience
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant role-based qualifications (advantageous)
