We’re looking for 2 experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team. This full-time role involves operating a gully tanker to support residential, commercial and construction drainage works, including emergency response jobs and scheduled site maintenance. You will operate as part of a two person team, and take lead on the delivery of a 7-year long framework around the Knowsley area. We’re looking for individuals with strong initiative and work ethic. You’ll be joining a company with a strong pipeline of contracts and a commitment to doing things the right way: safely, professionally and with pride.
Gully Tanker Driver responsibilities
- Operating gully tankers for drain and gully clearance
- Undertaking cleaning of pipes, manholes and gullies to S104/S38 standards
- Transporting and handling vacuum hoses and associated tools
- Using hand tools to lift covers and access drainage entry points
- Documenting findings through photographs and written observations
- Following all safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment
- Working alongside engineers and operatives across site teams
- Recording daily activity and maintaining vehicle and kit
Skills and experience required
- A full UK driving licence (HGV Class 2)
- 2+ years’ industry experience
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant role-based qualifications (advantageous)
