At Sephora, our social channels are more than just platforms – they're where our community comes to be inspired, discover, and engage with the beauty world. We're looking for a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Manager to lead our brand's presence across social platforms and drive impactful content initiatives across all touchpoints. This role goes beyond social media. You'll ideate, develop, and execute content shoots to support local marketing campaigns where relevant, ensuring Sephora's brand comes to life through every piece of content we create. You'll own our content strategy from start to finish – setting the vision, shaping the messaging, and guiding execution – while acting as the guardian of our brand voice. From social‐first videos and paid ads to campaign imagery and localised shoots, you'll blend creativity with strategic thinking to craft content that drives engagement, builds brand affinity, and keeps Sephora culturally relevant.

You Will Also Be Responsible For:

  • Leading Social Media Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a multi‐platform social media strategy aligned with brand objectives. Provide strategic oversight of the content calendar, ensuring campaigns are planned, published, and optimised seamlessly across all channels.
  • Building and Engaging Our Community: Oversee the building and nurturing of a strong online community, working closely with Customer Care to actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful conversations. Monitor social media channels for mentions of the brand and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates.
  • Creating Social‐First Content: Concept and deliver fresh, trend‐led creative ideas for video, imagery, and paid assets that resonate with our audience. Ensure all content reflects our brand identity and is produced with originality, quality, and consistency.
  • Defining and Protecting Brand Voice: Champion Sephora's tone of voice across all content touchpoints, from social captions to high‐impact campaigns. Guide and oversee internal and external copywriters to ensure messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent.
  • Overseeing Content & Video Production: Lead the planning and delivery of video content for brand events, internal communications, and strategic messaging. Partner with our Content Producer and external suppliers to manage briefs, shoots, editing, and approvals to meet brand standards. Ideate, develop, and execute content shoots to support local marketing campaigns where relevant.
  • Monitoring Trends & Cultural Relevance: Stay ahead of social media trends, cultural conversations, and competitor activity, identifying timely opportunities to engage and ensuring Sephora remains distinctive and culturally relevant.

What You'll Bring:

You're a natural storyteller who thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy. With a deep understanding of social platforms, content marketing, and community building, you know how to transform ideas into compelling campaigns that drive engagement and build brand love. You're confident working cross‐functionally, have a strong eye for aesthetics and detail, and can seamlessly balance creative ideation with data‐driven insights to deliver best‐in‐class content.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:

  • 5+ years' experience in social media, content strategy, or brand marketing.
  • Proven experience in brand storytelling, social copywriting, and performance‐driven messaging.
  • Ability to ideate and guide image and video production for social and digital content.
  • A proactive, organised mindset and comfort working in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
  • A strong understanding of social platforms, cultural trends, and analytics.
  • Experience within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands (a plus).
