Today, as we continue our exciting expansion across the UK, we’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help shape the future of prestige beauty in one of the world’s most dynamic retail markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join SEPHORA UK as a Ecommerce Controlling Manager, playing a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting the growth of our E‑Commerce business. In this role, you’ll combine hands‑on financial expertise with strategic thinking – owning key aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision‑making and shape future profitability. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the E‑Commerce & Marketing teams, translating financial data into clear insights that drive action, performance, and long‑term growth.

What you’ll be doing…

  • You’ll take ownership of E‑Commerce financial performance, ensuring strong visibility, accuracy, and impact across all financial processes, including:
  • Own and present the E‑Commerce P&L to senior leadership, bringing performance to life through clear, insight‑led storytelling
  • Analyse performance vs. forecast and prior year, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable levers to drive growth
  • Lead end‑to‑end forecasting cycles (monthly, budget, long‑term), building scenarios that shape strategic decision‑making
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that influence non‑finance stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted business partner to E‑Commerce and Marketing teams, supporting key commercial decisions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and investments, driving optimisation and stronger ROI
  • Build and track key financial and operational KPIs across the E‑Commerce business
  • Partner cross‑functionally to ensure accurate, timely reporting aligned with UK and Group requirements
  • Support and oversee key projects, ensuring financial impact is clearly understood, tracked and delivered
  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans to protect performance and deliver against targets
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a collaborative, ownership‑driven culture
  • Continuously improve financial processes, tools and ways of working to drive efficiency and better decision‑making

What you’ll bring…

  • You’ll be a commercially minded finance professional who is both analytical and collaborative, with a strong ability to influence and drive performance. You will also bring:
  • A degree in Finance, Economics or related field (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent desirable)
  • Proven experience in financial planning, modelling and analysis, ideally within retail or E‑Commerce
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex data sets
  • Ability to generate clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and influencing at different levels
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
