About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We're looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of major engineering and construction projects across the UK. Working across high-value infrastructure, nuclear and oil & gas projects, you'll play a key role in delivering commercial excellence throughout the project lifecycle while developing your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
This is a hybrid position, typically involving:
- 3 days working on project sites or at office locations
- 2 days working remotely
You’ll work as part of an experienced project delivery team to provide commercial and contract management support across a range of complex engineering and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tender and contract documentation.
- Review and analyse tender submissions.
- Deliver pre- and post-contract commercial support.
- Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
- Cost forecasting and financial reporting.
- Change control and value management.
- Review contractor applications for payment.
- Support the agreement of contract variations and claims.
- Final account preparation and settlement.
- Risk and value management.
- Support commercial governance and reporting requirements.
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Experience working on infrastructure, nuclear, oil & gas or similar engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Chartered (RICS) or working towards chartership.
- Experience using CEMAR or similar contract management software.
