We’re supporting a major industrial and infrastructure project in Devon and are looking to engage an experienced Civil Project Manager on a contract basis. This is a site-based role supporting the delivery of a large-scale construction programme within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of civil works packages from planning through to execution, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day delivery of civils packages on site
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Monitoring programme, progress and commercial performance
- Driving HSE standards and ensuring compliance across works
- Attending client and contractor coordination meetings
- Managing site documentation, reporting and progress updates
- Supporting project planning, sequencing and logistics
Requirements
- Proven background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, utilities or heavy construction environments preferred
- Strong contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work within fast-paced live project environments
- SMSTS and CSCS required
- NEC contract experience beneficial
