We are looking for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager who will be a key member of the Site Operations Leadership Team, responsible for leading and developing the site’s health, safety and environmental strategy. You will work closely with operational leaders to embed best practice, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards, helping create a safe, high-performing and engaged manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site health, safety and environmental agenda
- Drive a positive and proactive safety culture across the factory
- Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and ISO standards including ISO 45001
- Support and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Conduct audits, inspections and safety tours across site
- Analyse HSE data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Deliver training, coaching and guidance to leaders and operational teams
- Manage site HSE committees and first aid teams
