Following continued success and a growing pipeline of work, SEP Rail Services is looking to recruit a Utility Surveyor to join our expanding team. Depending on experience, we're open to appointing at either Senior or Lead level. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Utility Surveyor - or a Land Surveyor with proven experience in the water infrastructure sector, to take the next step in their career and join a business that's growing fast, with a strong reputation for doing things the right way: safely, professionally and with pride.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking utility and PAS surveys
  • Liaising and working with other survey departments across SEP Rail Group
  • Assisting with the maintenance of vans and survey equipment
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality, accurate survey data
  • Leading or mentoring team members on site where appropriate (if appointed at Lead level)

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 or Level 5 in Utility Mapping and Surveying
  • Strong working knowledge of PAS128 standards
  • Proficiency with GPR, electromagnetic location equipment, GPS, and AutoCAD
  • Experience with total station
  • Experience in utility surveying or a land surveying background with an interest in utilities
  • Must be available to work away from home
  • Must be available for night work
