Following continued success and a growing pipeline of work, SEP Rail Services is looking to recruit a Utility Surveyor to join our expanding team. Depending on experience, we’re open to appointing at either Senior or Lead level. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Utility Surveyor – or a Land Surveyor with experience in utility mapping. Responsibilities
- Undertaking utility and PAS surveys
- Liaising and working with other survey departments across SEP Rail Group
- Assisting with the maintenance of vans and survey equipment
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality, accurate survey data
- Leading or mentoring team members on site where appropriate (if appointed at Lead level)
Requirements
- QCF Level 3 or Level 5 in Utility Mapping and Surveying
- Strong working knowledge of PAS128 standards
- Proficiency with GPR, electromagnetic location equipment, GPS, and AutoCAD
- Experience with total station
- Experience in utility surveying or a land surveying background with an interest in utilities
- Must be available to work away from home
- Must be available for night work
