We're supporting a major industrial and infrastructure project in Devon and are looking to engage an experienced Civil Project Manager on a contract basis. This is a site-based role supporting the delivery of a large-scale construction programme within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of civil works packages from planning through to execution, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day delivery of civils packages on site
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Monitoring programme, progress and commercial performance
  • Driving HSE standards and ensuring compliance across works
  • Attending client and contractor coordination meetings
  • Managing site documentation, reporting and progress updates
  • Supporting project planning, sequencing and logistics

Requirements

  • Proven background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects experience within industrial, manufacturing, utilities or heavy construction environments
  • Strong contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced live project environments
  • SMSTS and CSCS required
  • NEC contract experience beneficial
