Within Prime Video, the Marketplace Tech we focus on Channels (the ability to add additional premium video subscriptions), Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD; the ability to rent and purchase movies, TV shows, and Pay-Per-View sports), and expanding these capabilities to net new marketplaces/countries.
Marketplace Tech’s mission is critical to PV’s vision of becoming the world’s best global entertainment hub and delivers towards it by increasing the content selection and diversity of offerings available to customers. Other key aspects are earning and keeping customer and partner trust through transparent and easy-to-use purchase and post-purchase experiences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
