About the Role: We’re hiring a Head of Content to oversee our entire content department and lead the creation of high-performing, search-driven content. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll write, edit, strategize, and manage. You’ll work closely with our Head of Strategy, Technical SEOs and Backlink teams to ensure content supports overall growth strategies, and you’ll collaborate directly with clients to develop ideas that move the needle.
Important: This is a US Eastern Time (EST) role. You must be available from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST (that’s roughly 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm in most of Western Europe). Yes, of course you can take a dinner break, we’re flexible.
What You’ll Do:
- Write sales-focused and SEO-optimized content including blogs, landing pages, collection pages, product pages, and service pages.
- Edit and improve work produced by other writers to ensure it meets our quality and conversion standards.
- Conduct keyword research and use insights to plan and prioritize content that supports revenue growth.
- Build content calendars for clients and manage ongoing execution.
- Collaborate with Technical SEO and Backlink Managers to align on-site, off-site, and content strategies.
- Work directly with clients to present ideas, explain results, and adjust strategy as needed.
- Manage and mentor content writers, ensuring clear communication, deadlines, and consistent quality.
- Track and report on performance metrics, including rankings, engagement, and conversion outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing or SEO content creation, ideally within an agency setting.
- Proven ability to write business-focused, conversion-oriented content such as blogs, landing pages, category pages, and more.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills with attention to tone, flow, and clarity.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization.
- Experience managing other writers and maintaining editorial standards.
- Comfortable speaking directly with clients, explaining strategy, and collaborating on growth initiatives.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of balancing creative work with deadlines.
- Must be comfortable working full-time during EST hours.
Compensation & Benefits: $3,000–$3,500 USD/month, depending on experience. 100% remote, work from anywhere as long as you can align with EST hours.
