SEO London is looking to hire a Data and Insights Officer, in the Programme Delivery and Impact team, reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery.
The Data and Insights Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience for students prior to joining an SEO London programme. The postholder will support data analytics, uphold data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across the participant journey. This role works closely with programme delivery and Impact teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor student engagement and communications outside selective programmes.
- Support smooth technical transitions between divisions (Schools → Careers → Alumni).
- Deliver, develop, and quality‑assure student support outside selective programmes, including the SEO Elevate Programme and Student Portal resources.
- Support and monitor cross‑team compliance with playbooks to maintain high data integrity.
- Manage mass data monitoring and correction activities to ensure database accuracy.
- Improve Salesforce adoption by providing internal training, guidance, and support tools.
- Update and refine workflows and playbooks that improve data quality and consistency of the student experience.
- Standardise programme evaluation processes and analyse results to identify themes that inform continuous improvement.
- Embed student voice by capturing stories, insights, and feedback, including through engagement with the SEO Champion Youth Advisory Group.
- Develop Salesforce dashboards to support programme delivery teams in monitoring performance against key KPIs.
- Attend events to collect student stories, testimonials, and quality observations.
- Support delivery teams with firm end‑of‑cycle reporting and ad‑hoc firm queries.
- Oversee the Post‑Internship/Post‑Spring feedback process reporting on themes internally.
- Support the Impact team with data analysis and reporting as required.
Skills and Experience
- Technical Skills
- Advanced Salesforce skills, including building complex reports and dashboards (training provided on SEO London’s system).
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query; no VBA/Macros required).
- Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Power BI data visualisation skills or interest (desirable).
- Proven ability to manage projects efficiently and keep tasks and deliverables well organised.
- Interest in programme evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to explain complex data and processes clearly and concisely.
- Understanding of the student lifecycle (school and university) and the industries SEO London operates in.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence a range of internal teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of employability skills required for participants to be job market ready.
- Clear communicator with strong listening skills and an empathetic approach.
