We’re looking for a passionate SEO Specialist to join our in‑office team in Barnsley, working alongside a talented creative team to deliver campaigns that genuinely move the needle for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Optimise on‑page content, copy, and landing pages.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
  • Perform technical site audits and recommend fixes.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement SEO best practices.
  • Track, analyse, and report on organic performance.
  • Report directly to the Director.
  • Work closely with our in‑house designers, developers, and account managers.
  • Carry out keyword research and mapping for clients.
  • Audit websites and implement on‑page optimisations.
  • Build and maintain content strategies (blog silos, pillar pages).
  • Deliver clear, actionable reports to clients.

Hard Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (agency or in‑house).
  • Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page, and content SEO.
  • Experience across ecommerce and/or B2B niches.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, GA4, Google Search Console.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate into clear actions.
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially minded.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Shopify, WordPress and Webflow.
  • Experience with site migrations.
  • Understanding of CRO and digital PR.
  • Strong writing or briefing skills for content.
  • Based in/around South Yorkshire (role is in‑office, Barnsley).
