We are working with an early stage technology company building a production grade B2B SaaS data platform for real time systems and analytics at scale. While the business has roots in hardware systems, the real focus is the software platform that turns live data into usable insight. They have recently hired their first dedicated front end engineer and are now looking to add a mid to senior Front End Engineer to work alongside them as the platform continues to mature.
This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys building well structured front end systems, improving quality over time, and working closely with backend and platform teams in a fast moving environment. The business is well funded, gaining strong client traction, and has real expansion plans across the next 12 months as they ramp up for series A.

What you will be doing:
- Building and improving a React based front end used in real world environments, breaking the organic monolith structure that has grown into modern modular architecture
- Developing dashboards, visualisations and data driven UI components
- Contributing to front end structure, patterns and best practices
- Working closely with backend and platform teams on APIs and data flow
- Helping improve performance, reliability and maintainability of the UI
- Supporting the platform as it moves from early build toward a more scalable phase
This is not a pure architecture role. It is suited to someone who still enjoys being close to the code while helping raise the overall front end bar.
What we are looking for:
- A front end specialist with strong, practical React experience (typically 4 plus years)
- Strong experience with TypeScript in modern React codebases
- Proven experience building production front ends used by real customers
- Comfortable working with state heavy, highly interactive user interfaces
- Experience building or maintaining complex, data rich or real time front end applications in production environments
- Able to work effectively in small, high ownership teams where communication and pragmatism matter
- A production first mindset, focused on maintainability, reliability and clarity over novelty
Background is flexible. What matters most is having built and shipped real front end systems and understanding how they behave in production.
