The Role
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a high-calibre Senior Business Development Manager / BDM to join our commercial team and take ownership of winning new contract cleaning and facilities management contracts across the UK. This is a senior commercial role for a proven Business Development Manager, BDM, Sales Manager, or New Business Manager with experience in contract cleaning, soft FM, facilities management, or comparable B2B service sales. We are looking for someone with the pace, judgement, and commercial edge to convert opportunity into profitable long-term revenue.
Responsibilities
- You will lead new business development across target sectors, build senior client relationships, shape commercial proposals, and convert qualified opportunities into profitable long-term contracts.
- Win new business across contract cleaning, commercial cleaning, soft FM, and facilities management services.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams, FM buyers, and operational stakeholders.
- Carry out site surveys and develop tailored service solutions, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Prepare tenders, pricing models, mobilisation plans, and client-facing submissions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to contract award.
- Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline visibility, and forecasting accuracy.
- Work closely with operations to ensure accurate costing, smooth mobilisation, and successful contract handover.
