My Client specialise in care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, taking a holistic approach to care. They ensure that all aspects of a young person's development are accounted for in order to inform our tailored therapeutic approach for them.

As Senior Support Practitioner you'll provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people to flourish as well as promoting health and well-being, education, positive relationships, independence, and activities in accordance with the children's homes regulations.

Skills Required:

  • You will have solid experience working in a Residential Children's Care home along with knowledge and experience of Safeguarding practices.
  • An understanding and experience of working with young people with Emotional and/or Behavioural difficulties is required as well as the ability to work in challenging environments and leading excellence in care.
  • Experience working in a therapeutic environment is highly advantageous.
  • You will ideally be working towards your Level 3/4 Diploma for Residential Childcare. An equivalent qualification will be considered.
