I am looking for a Project Director/Account Director specialising in Global Events. You must be passionate about delivering world class global events and ready to work within a busy and growing business. This business is at the top of their game when it comes to providing excellent customer experiences, whether it be through their envied Global Events, their Employee Engagement or Reward Programmes and boast a huge and very impressive client list.
You will play a lead role in delivering outstanding events on behalf of their clients, whilst managing a small team of Project Managers and Executives in an ever-evolving space, ensuring this business stays at the forefront of providing the very best Events solutions to their clients.
Key Purpose & Responsibilities:- Full project and file management through the life of the event, from contracting to reconciliation including time line management and travelling on-site.
- Financial oversight of projects working with Head of Events and Project Accountant where support is required.
- Management of all delegate communications, in liaison with Guest Management team, including sign off of all websites and all communication pieces.
- Preparation of all client contractual documentation for signature by Head of Events.
- Liaison with Business Development Directors, updating them of any opportunities or on any relevant issues in a timely fashion.
- Support the Head of Events and wider team in attracting and retaining the best people in the industry.
- Substantial experience in running the following event formats - conferences, road shows, virtual and hybrid events, Award and Gala dinners, product launches and incentives.
- Substantial experience of managing the venue and delegate logistics of global events.
- Experience of content development and how to bring alive messaging in a live / virtual event environment.
- Proven track record in producing and executing small, medium and large scale events.
- Willingness to travel for event delivery, site inspections and meetings as necessary.
- Project/team overhead budget management (£5M plus turnover).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Driven to exceed expectations.
- Excellent relationship builder.
- Good organisational skills.
