Refrigeration Engineer β Data Centre Projects (London & M25)
Our client is a well-established mechanical contractor specialising in cooling installation works for mission-critical data centre environments, with additional work across healthcare and commercial sectors. Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline, they're looking to add an experienced install engineer to their team working mainly across M25/M4 corridor. We have flexibility on someone who prefers undertaking delivery, or is looking to continue/progress into a supervisor role.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of DX systems, chilled water downflow units (DFUs), and VRV/VRF systems on live data centre projects
- Installing associated pipework, containment, brackets and condensate drainage
- Reading and working to technical/installation drawings
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and complying with site health & safety requirements
- Completing job documentation and installation paperwork accurately
- Liaising with project managers and fellow engineers on site
Requirements:
- Proven, hands-on experience installing DX, chilled water, and/or VRV/VRF systems
- F-Gas Certification (Category 1)
- CSCS card (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working autonomously and reliably delivering to a high standard
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of the M25/M4 corridor
What's on offer:
- Salary Β£55,000 - Β£65,000 depending on experience
