About the Role

Sentinel is partnering with a leading real estate consultancy to recruit a Consultant into their Healthcare Real Estate Advisory team in London. This is a client-facing advisory role working with NHS and wider health and social care organisations to shape and test real estate investment decisions, from early feasibility work through to full business case development. If you have a background in healthcare estate strategy, business case writing, or public sector property advisory, this is a strong platform to develop that expertise within a specialist national team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of estate strategies and property target operating models for health and social care clients
  • Authoring and developing business cases using the HM Treasury 5 Case Model (SOC, OBC, FBC)
  • Conducting feasibility analysis and testing real estate investment options
  • Analysing and presenting complex datasets to support evidence-based recommendations
  • Managing client relationships and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Supporting change management across multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Contributing to project planning, programme management, and delivery oversight
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and written outputs to a high standard

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience in healthcare estate strategy, business case development, or public sector property advisory
  • Working knowledge of the HM Treasury 5 Case Model and business case development stages
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large datasets and translating them into clear recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations
  • Experience working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (surveying, real estate, planning, finance, or similar)
