About the Opportunity:
We're partnering with a leading built environment consultancy to find a Senior Project Manager for their commercial developer team in London. This is a business with a strong pipeline of major schemes for high profile property developer clients, with project values regularly upwards of Β£100m. You'll be joining a team that's grown steadily over the past few years and continues to win work across some of the most significant commercial and mixed use developments in the capital. Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery on large scale commercial development projects from inception through to completion
- Build and manage project plans, budgets and risk registers, keeping senior stakeholders informed at every stage
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors and design teams
- Produce clear, well structured progress reports and project documentation
- Chair project meetings and manage cross functional teams, holding all parties to account on programme and quality
- Identify and manage risk proactively, escalating where needed
Skills/Experience:
- Proven Senior Project Manager background within a consultancy environment, not main contracting
- Track record delivering commercial or mixed use schemes at Β£100m+ project value
- Relevant professional qualification, e.g. MRICS, APM (PMQ/ChPP), CIOB or PRINCE2
- Confident managing client relationships directly, with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial and financial acumen across large scale projects
- London based or willing to work in London on a hybrid basis
