The Opportunity: Joining the Regional ERP team of a global FMCG and technology leader, you will provide high-level consulting and functional support for core Financial systems. Acting as an internal consultant for over 30 European subsidiaries, you will be responsible for aligning complex accounting practices with technical ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Consulting: Partner with regional business units to identify operational issues, gather requirements, and design "To-Be" financial solutions.
- Process Optimization: Audit existing financial workflows to identify inefficiencies; report findings to senior management and lead business process improvements.
- Cross-Module Integration: Manage the overlap between FI/CO and other business modules, specifically understanding the interfaces with Sales (SD) and Procurement (MM).
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all system applications and workflows conform to international standards, managing internal audits and risk reporting for the executive team.
- Project Delivery: Actively participate in the planning and execution of new IT initiatives, potentially involving BI (Business Intelligence) and digital finance solutions.
- Service Management: Provide expert support via a ticket-based system for the regional ERP landscape, ensuring all work meets agreed-upon service levels within a fast-paced environment.
Technical Requirements & Experience
- Core SAP Skills: Extensive functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling).
- Implementation Track Record: At least one full life cycle implementation is essential, though 2+ full-cycle projects as a functional consultant or power user are preferred.
- S/4HANA Readiness: Practical experience or strong knowledge of S/4HANA and Fiori applications is highly desirable.
- Workflow & Integration: A solid understanding of automated approval workflows and the touchpoints between Finance and Logistics modules.
- Industry Background: Previous experience in a large multinational corporation, specifically within the Retail or High-Tech Product sectors.
